About Camila

Hi, I’m Camila! I’m a Registered Dietitian with functional medicine training and certification in insulin resistance coaching, helping people understand how food impacts energy, mood, metabolic health, and overall well-being. I take a mindful eating approach, focusing on realistic, sustainable changes that fit your life without restrictive diets or calorie counting. I also hold a master’s degree in forensic psychology, where my research allowed me to explore how nutrient imbalances can influence behavior. My goal is to help patients feel confident and at peace with their food choices while fully enjoying life’s meaningful experiences, whether those moments involve food or simply living well.

Approach to care

I work with patients who want personalized, practical guidance rather than a one-size-fits-all plan. I incorporate strategies to support blood sugar balance alongside mindful eating, meal timing, and flexible meal planning. I guide clients to prioritize protein, include healthy fats for satiety and fuel, and approach carbohydrate intake intentionally to support energy and metabolic health. Each session is tailored to your needs, addressing challenges while celebrating progress and helping you better understand how your nutrition choices influence overall health. My goal is to support sustainable, long-term habits that align with your individual health goals. Above all, I want you to feel empowered to enjoy life’s meaningful experiences while making choices that support your well-being.

Your first session with Camila

During your first session, we’ll explore your “why” — what motivates you and what matters most to you. We’ll discuss your goals, current habits, and challenges, and identify small, practical steps to help you move toward those goals. You’ll leave with clear, actionable strategies and guidance to make informed decisions that support both your health and your enjoyment of life. My role is to support you throughout our work together, helping you build confidence and develop a more peaceful, balanced relationship with food and your health journey.
