About Cam’ryn
I’m a deeply caring and open-minded nutrition professional with a personal connection to the work I do. Living with type 1 diabetes has shaped not only my understanding of nutrition but also my empathy for the complex and emotional side of managing health. It’s what first sparked my interest in nutrition and continues to fuel my passion for helping others navigate their own journeys with compassion and confidence. I value curiosity and lifelong learning—I’m always expanding my knowledge so I can better support the people I work with. At my core, I care about creating space for people to feel understood and supported. I lead with heart, I listen deeply, and I believe in the power of small, meaningful steps toward long-term wellbeing.
Approach to care
I’m here to support and guide you while providing the tools, resources, and encouragement you need to take ownership of your health. This includes recipes, handouts, and strategies tailored to your unique needs—whether plant-based eating, heart health, diabetes management, or overall wellness. I value progress in all forms, especially non-scale victories, and aim to help you build lasting confidence in your body and choices. Our work is collaborative, with early sessions covering foundations like balance, portion awareness, and label reading, and later sessions becoming more personalized. My approach focuses on improving your relationship with food and integrating nutrition into your whole lifestyle—covering areas like sleep, supplements, and daily habits at a manageable pace. I avoid strict calorie counting or scale monitoring, preferring a step-by-step approach for long-term success.
Your first session with Cam’ryn
In our first session, my goal is to create a comfortable space for us to get to know each other. I’ll share a bit about my background and approach, but the main focus will be on learning about you—your lifestyle, relationship with food, daily routines, and what matters most to you. We’ll discuss your eating habits, food preferences, allergies or intolerances, and any cultural, personal, or spiritual influences that shape the way you eat. I also want to hear about any challenges you’ve been facing around food or nutrition. Together, we’ll set expectations for our work, outline what you can expect from future sessions, begin some introductory nutrition education, and take the first steps toward setting realistic, meaningful goals.

Hobbies
I spend my free time creating memories with my loved ones and caring for my two kitties. I also enjoy immersing myself into any art, music, food and nature sceneries.
