About Candace
After fifteen years working as a Registered Dietitian in hospital and community health settings, I bring science-based care that still feels personal. My Master's in Community Nutrition and Bachelor's in General Dietetics guide the practical plans I develop as a dietitian. I meet clients where they are and tailor recommendations that support longevity and everyday life. When I'm not with patients you might find me cooking, walking around my community, or spending time with my kids.
Approach to care
Science guides the work I do, and compassion shapes how we put it into practice. I rely on evidence-based strategies while keeping things weight-neutral and behavior-focused, because lasting change comes from sustainable habits, not restrictive rules. We'll make clear, action-oriented steps together, focusing on the whole person, to develop routines. I aim to teach you the why behind each recommendation so you can make informed choices that fit your life.
Your first session with Candace
Expect a relaxed, judgment-free conversation where we'll map out your health story together. I'll review your medical history and current routines to understand what's helping and what's holding you back. We won't aim for perfection, we'll choose one or two realistic short-term goals to get started. You'll leave with clear, evidence-based steps and the reassurance that we'll adjust the plan together as your life changes.
