About Candace
Training for my MS in Nutrition at the University of Central Arkansas set the foundation for 11 years working across hospitals, private practice, community health, school nutrition and telehealth. Based in Conway, Arkansas, I practice as an RDN and LDN, and I love that this work feels like thoughtful problem solving. Outside the office you'll find me cooking new recipes, planning a trip, reading, or tinkering with interior design β all small ways I practice curiosity and balance in daily life.
Approach to care
Food, health, and habits are meant to support the life you want to live, not to punish or control it. Grounded in current research, I use a Health At Every Size, weight-neutral lens so we focus on behaviors and well being rather than a number on the scale. Together we'll use clear, practical steps that build lasting habits, with empathy and education guiding each decision. I aim to be a reassuring, evidence-based partner who helps you make changes that stick.
Your first session with Candace
Expect a warm, low-pressure conversation where we get to know each other and build trust. We'll review your medical history and take a deep dive into your relationship with food, exploring what feels supportive and what feels hard. By the end of the visit we'll set short-term, realistic goals and create a meal plan you can try. You don't need to have it figured out ahead of time, we'll figure out next steps together.
