About Carena
Carena Lowenthal is a Registered Dietitian and Health and Wellness Coach (National Board Certified). She holds a master's degree in clinical nutrition and a bachelor's in Dietetics. Carena worked in Clinical Nutrition and had a successful career in Pharmaceutical Sales. She worked as a wellbeing coach at a top tier NY hospital, helping employees among all areas of healthcare. She uses her knowledge as a dietitian, experience as a wellness coach, and compassionate nature to help clients thrive in their wellness journey.
Approach to care
Carena likes to keep her clients' needs in the center, focusing on their strengths, beliefs, and meeting them where they are in a compassionate, holistic and non-judgmental way. She helps clients determine achievable goals and steps to improve their nutrition and health, leading to meaningful and measurable life changing behaviors and thinking.
Your first session with Carena
In the first session we will get to know each other. I will learn about your nutrition and medical history. We will look at your long-term goals and co-create a plan for short term steps to reach that goal (s). I will provide guidance and support as needed through our vast resources and discuss ways to keep yourself accountable between our sessions.
