About Carey
I have been practicing as a registered dietitian for the past 14 years. I currently work for a cancer center in rural Vermont and spent the previous 9 years working in hospitals and outpatient clinics helping people with a variety of nutrition related conditions.
Approach to care
My approach is to use evidenced-based nutrition guidelines to tailor a personalized plan that also considers your preferences and readiness to make changes. I aim to learn about what your goals are so that I can help you achieve them in reasonable and sustainable ways.
Your first session with Carey
I will be asking questions about what you typically eat and drink, what kind of physical activity you engage in, and any relevant health history and symptoms you may have. We will work together to start to formulate a nutrition plan that includes some recommendations you can implement right away to start on a path to improved health.
