About Carley
I’m a Registered Dietitian with experience in both clinical nutrition and performance nutrition for collegiate and professional athletes. My diverse background allows me to help clients optimize their health, energy, and overall well-being—whether that means managing a medical condition, improving performance, or simply feeling their best day to day. Currently, I work as a Clinical Dietitian, where I support individuals with a range of health needs including weight management, chronic disease prevention, and medical nutrition therapy. My approach is evidence-based yet realistic, focusing on building sustainable habits and a healthy relationship with food. I believe nutrition should empower—not restrict. I enjoy helping clients cut through the noise of conflicting health advice to find strategies that truly work for their unique goals and lifestyle.
Approach to care
I take a personalized approach that focuses on understanding each client’s unique goals, lifestyle, and relationship with food. My goal is to make nutrition practical and sustainable—helping clients build confidence in their choices, improve health markers, and find balance without restriction. I emphasize education, empowerment, and realistic strategies that fit seamlessly into everyday life.
Your first session with Carley
Your first session is focused on getting to know you. We will be reviewing your health history, current concerns, and what led you to seek nutrition support. This includes discussing medical conditions, medications, lab work, eating patterns, lifestyle factors, and any past experience with dieting or nutrition counseling. You can expect a collaborative, judge-free conversation. I'll ask detailed questions to understand your goals, preferences, and challenges so recommendations are realistic and sustainable - not one size fits all. By the end of the session, we'll identify clear priorities and outline next steps. This may include nutrition education, behavior-based strategies, or small, practical changes to start working on right away. You'll leave with a plan tailored to your needs and a clear idea of how we'll continue working together.
