About Carly
I am a native Vermonter but have been living in Texas for the past few years. My interest in nutrition started early, shaped by my own experiences with dieting and body image as a competitive dancer growing up. Like many, I spent years trying to âeat perfectlyâ and follow every new trend, only to end up feeling frustrated and confused, and ultimately no happier in my body. Those experiences sparked my passion for helping others build a healthier, more positive relationship with food. My goal is to make nutrition feel approachable, realistic, and free from guilt or confusion to propel you towards the person you want to be.
Approach to care
My approach is very much based on collaboration. I donât give out generic meal plans because I donât believe they help you build confidence in your food choices and enable long-term success. Instead, I support you in learning how to create healthy, balanced meals that align with your personal goals and give you practical, evidence based tips along the way. I believe the biggest lie about healthy eating is that it equals restriction and/or perfection â itâs about finding balance and building habits that work for you long term, allowing for the flexibility that life brings. Whether youâre hoping to feel more energized, manage a chronic condition, or simply feel more confident in your choices, Iâm here to collaborate with you to challenge food beliefs and myths that no longer serve you, set realistic goals, and create a plan that truly fits your life.
Your first session with Carly
Our first session is all about you â getting to know your lifestyle & daily routine, your relationship with food and what might be impacting your food choices, whatâs been working or feeling challenging, and of course, whatâs most important to you. Weâll explore your current habits, identify simple areas to focus on, and create a plan that feels realistic and personalized from the start. Youâll leave with a fresh perspective on nutrition and practical steps to begin building momentum toward your goals, feeling excited for our next session!
