About Carly
Hi, Iām Carly, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with over 6 years of experience in inpatient, long-term care, and health coaching. Iām passionate about helping people build a more peaceful relationship with food and believe in their ability to make lasting, positive changes. Throughout my career, Iāve supported adults managing diabetes, heart disease, GI conditions, and challenges related to weight or dysfunctional eating behaviors. I believe nutrition should be practical and personal ā small actions can lead to meaningful improvements in energy, health, and quality of life. My goal is to create a supportive, non-judgmental space where you feel heard, encouraged, and empowered to move forward toward better health.
Approach to care
My counseling style is collaborative, empathetic, and patientācentered. Together, weāll set realistic, achievable goals that fit your lifestyle and values. I emphasize flexibility, balance, and sustainable habits over rigid rules, helping you discover an approach that feels both manageable and enjoyable. Using motivational interviewing and evidenceābased strategies, Iāll guide you with straightforward, practical tools, problemāsolving for barriers you actually face, and warm accountability that keeps momentum without shame.
Your first session with Carly
Our first session is all about you. Weāll start with a comprehensive assessment of your health history, daily habits, and goals, giving you space to share what matters most. Iāll listen closely to understand your challenges and priorities, then weāll coācreate an initial plan with practical, personalized steps you can begin right away. Youāll leave feeling heard, supported, and equipped with a clear path forward ā knowing you have guidance and expertise alongside you as you move toward your goals.
