About Carol
I have thoroughly enjoyed all the opportunities being a dietitian for 35+ years has allowed me. I have worked in a variety of settings including clinical, food service management, corporate wellness, sports nutrition, teaching, writing and more. My clinical experience is in cardiovascular, diabetes, weight management, enteral/parenteral nutrition, prenatal infant nutrition, and individuals with intellectual disabilities. As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) I worked with individuals with intellectual disabilities who had varied mental health conditions. I thrive on helping others and look forward to continued service in both professions.
Approach to care
My approach to care is to help others in their personal health journey by empowering them to find the appropriate balance for them. I focus on long-term goals achieved by small changes chosen by each client. Health is highly individualized and not one size fits all.
Your first session with Carol
The first session will involve a comprehensive discussion about your health habits, current food pattern, and lifestyle. It is important for you to share as much information about your medical concerns, preferences and comfort level in exploring options to meet your needs for optimal health.
