About Carolee
Studying how food shapes health led me to earn an MS in Applied Nutrition from The University of New England and to practice as an RDN and LD. For three years I've worked in hospital settings and outpatient roles , helping people find sustainable, weight-neutral ways to improve well-being. I use a non-diet approach, and outside clinic hours I recharge by hiking, cooking, and reading. We'll translate science into practical steps that fit your life and goals.
Approach to care
Nutrition care should be rooted in evidence and delivered with kindness. I bring current research into our conversations while centering Health At Every Size principles and a non-diet philosophy. We'll focus on behaviors, not numbers, and set clear, achievable steps you can keep long term. I teach practical skills, offer direct evidence-based options, and support you with empathy and accountability. Together we'll address physical, emotional, and lifestyle factors so change feels realistic and lasting.
Your first session with Carolee
Expect a warm, low-pressure conversation where we review your medical history and any lab work or biometrics you have available. We'll talk through your routines, wins, and barriers, and translate that information into one or two short-term goals that feel doable. This is a judgment-free space, so you don't need to have everything figured out before you arrive. Bring questions, and we'll leave with clear, practical next steps we both feel good about.
