About Caroline
Welcome! I’m Caroline O’Donnell, MS, RD, LD, a registered dietitian who works with individuals and families to build confidence around food and feel energized in everyday life. I bring clinical expertise in infant and pediatric nutrition, food allergies and intolerances, gastrointestinal disorders, and feeding tubes. I take a whole-foods, whole-family approach and love helping parents and kids develop habits that actually work in busy lifestyles and routines. I want to equip you with ease and knowledge that takes the guessing out of your food choices. I will collaborate with you to find practical, budget-friendly strategies that fit your goals, preferences, and lifestyle.
Approach to care
My approach is grounded in a whole-foods, whole-family philosophy that supports long-term health, energy, and sustainability. I like to incorporate fresh, minimally processed foods to reduce chronic disease risk and optimize energy levels, while avoiding overly restrictive practices. I account for busy schedules, dietary needs, cultural considerations, and budget in our conversations. By taking a practical, individualized approach, I will partner with you to create sustainable eating habits that align with your goals and support a long, healthy life.
Your first session with Caroline
Our first appointment is all about you. We'll review your medical history and your current relationship with food, and we'll explore your goals together. You don't need to have everything figured out yet; this is a low-pressure, judgment-free conversation designed to set you up for success. We'll identify 1-2 short-term goals that fit your life and values, and we'll map out the next steps for the week ahead. Think of it as a collaborative start to a sustainable plan, built with curiosity and care, not a quick fix.
