About Carrie
I am a Registered dietitian with 17 years experience in clinical and private practice setting. I started out in advertising but changed careers when I realized that my passion in life was nutrition! Now I love to share my passion with others and help them to achieve the healthiest version of themselves.
Approach to care
My approach to nutrition care is rooted in empathy, evidence, and a deep respect for the whole person. I believe that food is never just about nutrients—it is shaped by culture, emotions, health history, lifestyle, and lived experience. Because of this, I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, supported, and understood. I practice evidence-based nutrition, meaning my recommendations are grounded in current research and clinical guidelines, not trends or fear-based messaging. At the same time, I recognize that there is no one-size-fits-all plan. I work collaboratively with each client to translate evidence into realistic, sustainable strategies that fit their individual needs, preferences, and goals. I take a holistic view of health, considering how factors such as stress, sleep, medications, digestion, mental health, and daily routines interact with nutrition.

In your first session, we’ll take time to review your medical history, lifestyle, and current eating habits while discussing your concerns, symptoms, and priorities. We’ll explore what has and hasn’t worked in the past and collaborate on realistic, short-term goals. You’ll leave with clear next steps and a personalized, supportive plan.
