About Cassandra
I help athletes harness the power of evidence-based nutrition to achieve their performance goals. As an endurance athlete myself, I understand firsthand how proper fueling & nutrition strategies can transform performance & recovery. As a Registered & Licensed Dietitian, certified triathlon, running & coach, I specialize in sports nutrition for youth & adult athletes at all levels. My 10+ years of youth & adult coaching experience, combined with my own athletic background & race support as a Dietitian & Chef gives me unique insight into the real-world fueling challenges athletes face. As a media dietitian, I’ve been featured in major outlets including Runner’s World, Bicycling, Time, Huffington Post, & Men’s Health, sharing expert insights on sports nutrition & fueling strategies to optimize athletic performance. I work closely with you to develop personalized, practical nutrition strategies that fit into your busy lifestyle and align with your goals, whether it’s rebuilding strength after fueling sports performance, navigating the unpredictable schedule of a first responder, returning to sport after injury or cancer or simply feeling your best. My approach is a food first approach with supplementation, if needed, to meet needs for health & performance. I meet you where you are & focus on small changes that will help you achieve lasting results. As a first career forensic scientist, I am passionate about translating complex, evidence-based science into practical, actionable goals. My background as a cancer survivor and first responder has deepened my understanding of how nutrition supports resilience, strength, and optimal performance under demanding conditions.
Your first session with Cassandra
In your first nutrition session, we’ll discuss your current lifestyle, the areas you’d like to focus on and your health history. We’ll start setting personalized, actionable and achievable goals one small step at a time that fit within your daily schedule. We will also identify challenges and work together to create strategies to help you reach your goals. I’ll provide nutrition education tailored to your specific needs, so you leave the session with a clear understanding of how to take the first steps toward your health and wellness goals. This is a collaborative process designed to fit your individual lifestyle, helping you feel confident and empowered to move forward.
