About Cassandra
My passion for nutrition comes from my desire to help individuals harness the power of nutrition to achieve their goals. As a cancer survivor & endurance athlete, I’ve experienced firsthand how evidence-based nutrition and resilience can play transformative roles in recovery, strength, and performance. I specialize in working with athletes (youth & adult), cancer survivors & first responders. As a media dietitian, I’ve been featured in major media outlets including Runner's World, Bicycling, Time, Huffington Post, Men's Health, & many more, sharing expert insights on topics such as cancer survivorship, sports nutrition, endurance fueling, & strategies for rebuilding strength and health.
Approach to care
I work closely with you to develop personalized, practical nutrition strategies that fit into your busy lifestyle and align with your goals, whether it’s rebuilding strength after cancer, fueling sports performance, navigating the unpredictable schedule of a first responder or simply feeling your best. My approach is a food first approach with supplementation, if needed, to meet needs for health & performance. I meet you where you are & focus on small changes that will help you achieve lasting results. As a first career forensic scientist, I am passionate about translating complex, evidence-based science into practical, actionable goals.
Your first session with Cassandra
In your first nutrition session, we’ll discuss your current lifestyle, the areas you’d like to focus on and your health history. We’ll start setting personalized, actionable and achievable goals one small step at a time that fit within your daily schedule. We will also identify challenges and work together to create strategies to help you reach your goals. I’ll provide nutrition education tailored to your specific needs, so you leave the session with a clear understanding of how to take the first steps toward your health and wellness goals. This is a collaborative process designed to fit your individual lifestyle, helping you feel confident and empowered to move forward.
