About Cassi
Hi, I'm Cassi! I'm a Registered Dietitian specializing in GI, tube feeding and oncology. I'm passionate about helping others live a better life through food and nutrition. I started my career in 2013 working in a hospital inpatient setting, specifically the GI surgical floor and later the ICU. Since 2016 I have been working in outpatient oncology using medical nutrition therapy to them manage treatment side effects, their other disease states while navigating life during and after cancer treatment. In 2020 I became a Certified Specialist in Oncology (CSO). I personally have Crohn's disease and find it so rewarding when any part of my personal journey can help another patient.
Approach to care
I'm here to provide research based care, cheer you on and answer your nutrition questions. I always aim to create a safe space for everyone as we navigate nutrition goals, barriers and changes together.
Your first session with Cassi
I look forward to getting to know you at our first session! Listening to your needs and goals is my priority during the first session. We will discuss your medication and nutrition history, the goals and hopes you have for nutrition, any barriers you're facing and what your lifestyle looks like. Initial assessment will also involve creating a care plan that works for you and identifying attainable action steps to take.
