About Catherine

Catherine has over seven years of experience working with those in recovery from disordered eating and eating disorders. She has also worked with those in recovery from substance abuse and addiction. Additionally, Catherine has worked with collegiate and professional athletes and has a passion (and personal interest) in sports nutrition. Good health and nutrition impact longevity, mental health, energy, and overall well-being. Catherine strives to help her clients find the balance between nourishing their bodies and living their fullest life.

Approach to care

Catherine utilizes a compassionate and practical approach to nutrition that emphasizes building a positive relationship with food and incorporates flexibility, fun, and enjoyment! Rooted in the weight neutral framework, Catherine does not adhere to one particular diet or way of eating and believes that unique and individualized care is essential. She hopes to serve her clients as a source of support, information, and empowerment.

The initial assessment is an opportunity for Catherine to gain as much information about you as you are open to sharing. She will take time to deep dive into what you have done in the past, what your current barriers are, and what you hope to achieve during your time together. She recognizes that nutrition can feel overwhelming and complicated. Catherine hopes to empower you with the knowledge, awareness, and skills that work best for your unique life. Catherine values humor, authenticity, and levity in sessions and recognizes that while overall wellness is the goal having fun is part of that!
