About Catherine
Hi, I'm Catherine. I bring a decade of experience as a Registered Dietitian, working across community health and clinical settings to help people build healthier, more relaxed relationships with food. I earned my BS in Food Science and Human Nutrition from the University of Florida and studied further at Florida International University, grounding my work in both science and public health. My MPH and RDN credentials accompany my daily practice as I stay curious, evidence-based, and collaborative. When I’m not seeing patients, you’ll find me in the kitchen, out running, or catching WWE moments with friends. I love translating warmth into lasting, sustainable change here in New York.
Approach to care
I believe care works best when it's evidence-based and compassionate, grounded in science but tailored to you. I collaborate with my clients to translate research into practical steps that fit your life, your values, and your goals. My approach is weight-neutral and HAES-informed, focusing on sustainable habits rather than short term fixes. I look at the whole person — sleep, stress, routines, and food preferences — so you feel seen, not judged. My aim is an educational partnership: you leave each session with clear actions, realistic goals, and a deeper understanding of how your body responds to food. Together, we'll build lasting change.
Your first session with Catherine
Our first appointment is all about you. We’ll review your medical history and dive into your relationship with food in a nonjudgmental space. We’ll talk about what’s working, what isn’t, and what you’d like to change, at a pace that feels comfortable. No pressure to have every answer ready, this is the starting point for a collaborative plan. You’ll leave with a sense of direction and one or two attainable steps to begin before our next visit, plus the confidence that we’re in this together.
