About Catherine
Hello! I have been a Registered Dietitian since July of 2020 and learned about Nourish from a fellow cohort member of The Liberated Clinician, a weight inclusive business coaching experience for dietitians. I was drawn to TLC after completing the Intuitive Eating Counselor certification program.
Approach to care
The basis of my desire to help people is to convey science-based information in a way that is easily understood and applied toward the goal of improving health outcomes. I believe that individuals may or may not be responsible for problems but are responsible for solutions, to the extent that they may either create a solution or access help in doing so. With knowledge and support, ideally, the patient or client will be able to make an informed decision about what they are willing to do to improve their situation, with the understanding that I will continue to support and encourage their efforts toward that goal.
Your first session with Catherine
I will talk a bit about my approach to care and whether you are comfortable with that process. We as a clinician and patient should come to an agreement about our approach so that we can move forward toward an agreed upon goal.
