About Cathy

Over the past 30 years working in healthcare and nutrition, I’ve learned that meaningful change comes from small, sustainable steps. I earned my MS in Health Education from the State University of New York and practice as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Licensed Dietitian. My experience includes senior living and hospital environments in both clinical and leadership roles. I specialize in gluten-free living and support for individuals with celiac disease and gluten-related disorders. As someone who also lives with celiac disease, I understand firsthand how overwhelming a diagnosis and lifestyle changes can feel. I’m passionate about helping people feel confident navigating a gluten-free lifestyle while improving their overall health and confidence. I also support individuals seeking sustainable weight management through practical lifestyle changes including nutrition, movement, sleep, and stress management.

Approach to care

I rely on current evidence and decades of experience to turn nutrition science into practical, realistic strategies we can implement together. My priority is creating a warm, nonjudgmental space where you feel supported and understood. I focus on teaching skills so you understand why changes matter, while providing clear, actionable steps and gentle accountability. Together we look at the whole picture—including nutrition, sleep, movement, and lifestyle habits—to support sustainable health and realistic weight management that you can maintain long term.

Your first session with Cathy

Expect a relaxed, thorough conversation where we review your medical history, recent labs or biometrics, and explore your relationship with food. We'll establish a few realistic short-term goals and discuss a practical approach to nutrition, sleep, movement, and daily routines that fits your life. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out—we’ll take small, supportive steps and plan follow-up sessions so you feel confident and supported as we build lasting change together.
