About Charlayne
I am a Registered Dietitian based out of Arizona where I received a Bachelor's of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics and a Master's of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics both from Arizona State University. I am from Maryland and am an East Coast girl at heart. I have a range of experience including research, inpatient clinical, long-term care, short-term rehab and corrections institutions. I am excited to get to know you and help you reach your goals!
Approach to care
I prefer a non-diet approach to care that is balanced and prioritizes mental health. Care should be individualized to each specific patient and will ensure they receive personalized, practical, and effective nutrition care that is attainable for them. We will determine any gaps in nutrition education and attempt to bridge those gaps. This involves working closely with the patient weekly to overcome barriers, achieve their goals and ensuring they are set up for long-term success.
Your first session with Charlayne
In your first session with me, expect a detailed discussion of your health history, current diet, and goals. We will get to know each other and will work together to assess your needs, set realistic goals, and provide tailored advice to help you make sustainable, healthy changes.
