About Chelsea

Food has always felt like both science and story to me. I earned my MS in Nutrition from Texas Woman's University and bring 20 years of experience as an RDN and LD, with work across clinical hospital settings, community health programs, and research and academia. I focus on translating evidence into clear, manageable steps you can use in daily life. When I’m not working I’m usually walking my dog, reading, or swimming, which helps me remember that small, consistent habits add up over time.

Approach to care

Evidence guides our decisions, and your life shapes how change actually happens. I center care in current research while staying warm and nonjudgmental, so we can focus on practical skills and sustainable habits. I prioritize behavior-focused, weight-neutral strategies that account for mental, emotional, and physical well being. Together we’ll learn the why behind a recommendation, set clear action steps, and adjust as we go so progress feels doable and lasting.

Your first session with Chelsea

Expect a relaxed, judgment-free conversation where we’ll review your medical history and any lab work or biometrics to see the whole picture. We’ll talk about what’s working, what’s been frustrating, and what you want to change, then establish a few short-term goals that feel achievable. I’ll help create an initial meal plan tailored to your routine and preferences, and we’ll leave with clear next steps so you feel supported rather than overwhelmed.
