About Chelsea
Nutrition and “diet” -related advice can be a confusing landscape to navigate on one’s own, and that’s where Chelsea comes in! As a registered dietitian with a background in psychology and public health, Chelsea has over 5 years of experience helping clients to achieve better relationships with food and their bodies, as well as helping to prevent and manage chronic illnesses. She has extensive experience in digestive health, emotional eating, pediatric nutrition, women’s health, as well as experience in diabetes and renal conditions, oncology nutrition, pre and post-natal nutrition, and healthy aging.
Approach to care
Chelsea is well-versed in Intuitive Eating, and believes in a Health At Every Size (HAES) approach to achieving your nutrition and health goals. She believes that all-foods fit, especially those foods that are important to your culture and community. Using gentle nutrition, evidence-based practices, and an approach tailored especially for you, Chelsea will empower you to nourish your body and achieve physical and emotional harmony in a manner that is accessible and sustainable.
Your first session with Chelsea
Your first session with Chelsea will be all about getting to know you better! She will gather background information on your medical history, lifestyle and other factors such stress levels, exercise, emotional state, likes, dislikes, and learning style that will help shape the roadmap for finding your best health. You will discuss some “bite-size” goals to chew on before your next session, and some achievable steps to help you reach them. Based on your needs, she will provide you with resources, recommendations, and additional support before your next session.
