Patient reviews
âI just had my Zoom appointment with Chelsea, the registered dietitian, and it was fantastic! She was professional yet super friendly, immediately making me feel at ease. Chelsea listened to my concerns and asked great questions. She genuinely cared about my journey, and her practical advice was tailored for me. By the end of our session, I felt excited and empowered, with a clear plan for the future. I highly recommend Chelsea if youâre looking for a supportive and knowledgeable dietitian.â

About Chelsea
Hi! I am an RD committed to supporting individuals on their journey toward improved mental and physical health. After earning my Bachelorâs degree in Dietetics from the University of Florida, I completed my clinical training and Masterâs degree in Clinical Nutrition at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. My professional experience spans various clinical, behavioral health & eating disorder treatment settingsâincluding inpatient, PHP/IOP, outpatient, and residential programsâwhere I've delivered Medical Nutrition Therapy to diverse and complex populations. My scope of practice specializes in disordered eating behaviors, weight and appetite-related changes, and clinical concerns/conditions.
Approach to care
I aim to create a positive, judgment-free environment that emphasizes your strengths. Nutrition should be viewed from a glass-half-full perspective with flexibility and balance, not as a rigid concept shaped by diet culture. Food plays a central role in human connection, culture, fulfillment, and nourishment. My approach combines nutrition science and research with principles of Intuitive Eating, the Plate-by-Plate Approach, the all-foods-fit model, HAES, mindfulness, and flexible/balanced eating. I bring an empathetic, realistic, and energetic counseling style, complemented by a sense of humor and a genuine passion for helping others :) I look forward to working with you!
Your first session with Chelsea
The initial assessment focuses on getting to know you and building a comfortable, trusting relationship. Weâll explore your medical/family history, lifestyle, diet history, patterns, behaviors, challenges, and concerns. Afterward, weâll discuss your health goals and develop a plan tailored to your needs and learning style. Intervention modalities may include nutrition education and counseling, meal-planning support and structure, grocery-list/recipe development, and behavioral approaches such as exposure-based food work and challenging food-related beliefs. Follow-up sessions provide accountability, support attainable goals, and offer opportunities for growth while addressing unique concerns.
