Patient reviews

  • Chelsey is exactly who i was looking for in a dietician. She truly listens to what you're going through, knows exactly what to say when you need to hear it, and helps you through each situation as it arises in the way that will work for you. In the last year working with Chelsey, ive added so many tools to toolbet that work for me and i feel stronger every day

  • Always great speaking with Chelsey and navigating my food journey with her.

  • Chelsea is amazing. She listens and makes suggestions based on your needs, not a cookie cutter. Excellent resource, wonderful human. She is so easy to talk to that I found myself forgetting that I wasn't on the phone with one of my sisters.

About Chelsey

Hi, I’m Chelsey, a Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist based in Los Angeles with 9 years of experience in clinical and private practice settings. My path to nutrition wasn’t linear. I started out with a Bachelor’s in Psychology, taught English in Japan, and worked in behavioral therapy with kids with autism before earning my Master’s in Nutrition. All of those experiences shape how I show up for clients today. My work is rooted in weight-inclusive, judgment-free care, helping clients build a healthier relationship with food in a way that fits real life. I’ve provided medical nutrition therapy in hospital and outpatient settings and love meeting people exactly where they are. Outside of work, I’m hiking with my dog, gossiping with my houseplants, or building miniature houses. Fall is my season. Crunchy leaves, sweaters, PSLs, and all the cinnamon things 🍁😂

Approach to care

I work from a HAES, weight neutral, holistic, evidence-based frame. We'll approach your health as a collaboration, honoring your lived experience and goals. I’m all about meeting you where you are while guiding with clear, actionable steps. I believe in sustainable habits over quick fixes and in educating you so you can make informed decisions. My approach considers mental, emotional, and physical aspects, ensuring choices fit your life and values. Together, we’ll build a lasting plan you can actually live with.

Your first session with Chelsey

Our first appointment is a warm, judgment-free conversation about you. Think of it as a getting-to-know-you session, not a test. We'll review your medical history, lab work and biomarkers, and do a deep dive into your relationship with food. Together we’ll establish 1 or 2 short-term goals and outline practical next steps. You don’t need to have it all figured out yet; I’ll meet you where you are and we’ll move forward together at a pace that feels right for you. Also, I love nerding out about the science behind food!
