About Chrissie
After 25 years as a registered dietitian, I still get energized by the simple changes that add up to healthier, more enjoyable days. I have earned a BS in Human Nutrition and Food and practiced in hospital and community health settings, which taught me to blend clinical evidence with practical, real-world solutions. As an RDN and LDN I love exploring new recipes and flavors in the kitchen and learning about food traditions when I travel. I bring curiosity, warmth, and practical problem solving to every visit.
Approach to care
Evidence and empathy guide how I work with people. I ground recommendations in current research while keeping our conversations warm and nonjudgmental, so we can focus on building sustainable habits rather than short-term fixes. I practice from a health-at-every-size lens, looking at behaviors, quality of life, and overall wellbeing instead of numbers on a scale. Together we'll set clear, practical steps, track progress, and adapt as life evolves. I also prioritize education so you understand the why behind each choice.
Your first session with Chrissie
Expect a relaxed, supportive conversation where we'll review your medical history and the everyday routines that shape your choices. I want to hear what has worked, what feels hard, and how you experience food, and there is no need to have everything figured out before we meet. We'll translate that information into one or two short-term, achievable goals and a clear next step, so you leave with confidence and a plan you can actually try between visits.
