About Christie
Hello! My name is Christie, and I’m a Registered Dietitian (RD) and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) based in Southern California. I have over 10 years of experience in clinical nutrition, with expertise in diabetes management (adults and pediatrics), chronic kidney disease, cancer nutrition, and nutrition support.
Approach to care
My approach to care is holistic, realistic, and compassionate. I understand that health is only one part of your life, and my goal is to help you make sustainable changes that fit your values, preferences, and day-to-day reality. I don’t believe in extreme restriction, you won’t be asked to give up foods you love (donuts are my favorite!). Instead, I focus on building a healthy relationship with food while working toward your goals.
Your first session with Christie
In our first session, my priority is simply getting to know you. I want to understand your challenges, your favorite foods, what motivates you, and what you hope to achieve, so we can create a plan that truly works for you. I’m here to guide you, support you, and help you navigate challenges in a way that feels empowering rather than overwhelming.
