About Christin

I’m Christie, your resident dietitian who’s survived grad school, a 1200-hour internship, 15 years of clinical chaos, and motherhood—all without losing my mind (mostly). I don’t preach. I don’t shame. I don’t tell you kale is “life.” What I DO do is help gloriously average humans (like you and I) build realistic habits so they can stop Googling “how to lose 10 pounds overnight” and start living a life that doesn’t feel like straight JAIL. At home, I’ve got a husband, a 10-year-old legend named Oliver, and a 120lb dog named Beau who sheds enough hair to knit sweaters for the entire country. (Honestly it’s like the Wild West in my house, with tumbleweeds of hair blowing all over the place!)

Approach to care

I’m a Registered Dietitian with 15+ years of experience in diabetes, weight loss, bariatric surgery, GLP-1s, heart disease, kidney failure, malnutrition, cancer, and aging—and I’m not here to hand you a polite little meal plan and send you on your way. I’ve seen it all: cookies that snowball into buffets, goals that feel like prison sentences, and people convinced health is nothing but punishment in disguise. My job? To help you prove them wrong. I don’t peddle diet dogma or kale-worshipping nonsense—I help you dismantle the guilt, perfectionism, and all-or-nothing thinking that’s been running the show. This is about ripping up the old rulebook and rebuilding habits that actually stick, so health stops being a life sentence and starts being your rebellion.

Your first session with Christin

In our first session, we really talk—your goals, habits, health history, and “I know I should but
” moments. Then we find your true roadblocks (spoiler: it’s rarely just about food) like emotional eating, schedule chaos, or unrealistic goals. Together, we’ll make a plan that works for your life—whether that’s a meal plan, grocery strategies, or habit tweaks. No strict rules, just killer tools: self-regulation, mindfulness, and habits that don’t ghost you when motivation ultimately does. No detox teas, no crash diets, no guilt trips—only science, strategy, and maybe a spunky pep talk here and there. When we are done, you’ll leave with more than good vibes—you’ll have an actual plan designed to NOT fall apart the second life gets messy.
