About Christin
Hi! I’m Christin Ostlund, a Registered Dietitian with a passion for helping individuals feel confident and supported in their nutrition journey. My clinical work includes providing specialized nutrition care at Phoenix Children’s Hospital and previous roles in adult critical care at Banner University Medical Center. With experience in both pediatric and adult critical care settings, I bring a calm, thorough, and evidence-based approach to every patient I work with.
Approach to care
My approach to care is rooted in compassion and practicality. I strive to make nutrition feel less overwhelming and more empowering by meeting patients where they are, providing clear guidance, and tailoring recommendations to fit each person’s unique medical needs, lifestyle, and goals. Whether navigating complex conditions or working toward long-term wellness, I aim to create a safe space where patients feel heard, understood, and supported.
Your first session with Christin
During your first session, you can expect a welcoming, conversational visit. We’ll take time to review your health history, current eating patterns, symptoms, and lifestyle factors. I’ll ask about your goals, preferences, and any challenges you’ve been facing. Together, we’ll start building a personalized, practical plan tailored to your needs—whether you’re navigating a medical condition, managing weight, improving your relationship with food, or simply seeking guidance. You’ll leave with clear next steps and a sense of direction, without feeling overwhelmed.
