About Christina

Hi there! I’m Christina Armendariz, MS, RDN. I help individuals and families use food as a foundation for health, healing, and prevention. My goal is to make nutrition feel approachable, supportive, and doable—no rigid rules or overwhelm, just real-life guidance that fits you. I specialize in home tube feeding management and chronic disease prevention, helping clients feel confident and capable in their care. Whether you’re transitioning to home enteral nutrition or simply want to build habits to support heart health, diabetes prevention, or overall wellness, I’m here to guide you every step of the way—with compassion, clarity, and care. My approach is collaborative and down-to-earth—focused on real food, realistic goals, and long-term success utilizing functional medicine practices to treat the root cause. Everyone deserves nutrition care that feels personal and empowering, and together, we’ll find what works best for you.

Approach to care

My approach is centered on meeting you exactly where you are—no judgment, no overwhelm. I believe nutrition care should feel approachable and supportive, not restrictive or confusing. Together, we’ll look beyond symptoms to understand the root causes of your health concerns and find realistic, accessible solutions that fit your life. I’ll guide you step by step with compassion, lightheartedness, and practical tools to help you feel confident in your progress and empowered in your care.

Your first session with Christina

Our first session is all about getting to know you! We’ll chat about your goals, your story, and what kind of support feels right for you. We’ll take a look at your relationship with food—what you’ve tried before, what’s worked (and what hasn’t), and how life’s ups and downs might be showing up in your eating habits. From there, we’ll start shaping a plan that actually fits your life and helps you move toward feeling your best.
