About Christina

I've been a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist for over 5 years, with experience in clinical, outpatient, and community health care settings. I most enjoy working directly with patients providing personalized nutrition care. I have supported many patients in improving overall health and relationships with food, reducing risk of chronic diseases, and managing current health conditions. Additionally, I have experience supporting families with nutrition care for children, including addressing picky eating, promoting healthy eating habits, and managing disordered eating.

Approach to care

My approach to nutrition care is centered on helping individuals make realistic, sustainable changes that support overall well-being. I take into account each client's health concerns and their relationships with food, body, and exercise. I focus on small, achievable steps that fit my client's lifestyle, rather than promoting quick fixes or restrictive plans. I challenge harmful messages from diet culture, encouraging a more balanced approach to health and wellness. My goal is to empower clients to build lasting healthy habits and a peaceful relationship with food.

Your first session with Christina

In your first session, I'd like to get to know you! I want to understand your health concerns and learn what you are hoping to achieve through working with a dietitian. I'll ask about your dieting history, and your relationship with food and movement - only as much as you are comfortable sharing - so I can get a sense of what's worked, what hasn't, and how we an build a plan that works for you. We may get into a bit of nutrition education if relevant. Together, we will set a few initial behavior goals to begin working toward your desired health outcomes.
