About Christine

Hello, I am Christine, a seasoned dietitian with over three decades of experience. I enjoy working with kids, families, and people of all ages. I firmly believe in a holistic approach to well-being, which is why I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Mindfulness Studies. This additional knowledge allows me to better understand how people change their behavior. I am deeply interested in the gut-brain connection and enjoy offering practical, evidence-based advice. I am here to listen to you and support your journey towards better well-being.

Approach to care

Like many dietitians, my initial training was in the medical model (disease-focused). However, I have expanded my knowledge by studying various other approaches. Ten years ago, I joined a team of researchers to develop and implement a unique model. This holistic model combines biology, psychology, sociology, neuroscience, and culinary medicine. It focuses on understanding what is happening, what has happened, and what matters to you. These questions guide us to a deeper understanding of our behavior and needs. I believe each client is on a unique life journey, and I am committed to collaborating with you on your path to well-being.

Your first session with Christine

During our first session, you will be greeted with acceptance and kindness. We will start to get to know each other and build trust. We will gather information about your past and current habits and general health. I will listen to what is happening in your life and what matters to you. We will collaborate and craft a personalized plan that suits your needs and goals.
