About Christine

Hi! I’m Christine, a registered dietitian living in Idaho. I’ve lived in nine different states, and moving helped me learn many food traditions across the U.S. I enjoy using that knowledge to connect with my patients and create delicious meals for my family. As a teen, I felt something was missing in my medical care, but meeting with a dietitian changed my life. That experience inspired me to earn my BS in Nutrition Sciences from the University of Florida and become a dietitian. For over 30 years, I’ve had the joy of helping patients reach their health goals by finding simple, realistic ways to improve how they eat and feel. When I’m not talking about food, you’ll find me glamping, hiking, traveling with my husband and kids—or feeding the squirrels in my yard who now expect snacks.

Approach to care

My approach to nutrition counseling is science-based, but it’s also practical and focused on you so you can feel your best. I believe nutrition should fit into real life, not feel overwhelming or restrictive. My counseling style is collaborative and compassionate. I meet you wherever you are in your health journey and approach each conversation with empathy and understanding. I take time to listen to your goals and concerns, so we can create strategies that work with your lifestyle, preferences, and culture. My goal is to work together to turn current medical and nutrition research into practical steps you can use every day. Together, we will focus on building realistic, sustainable habits that support your health, energy, and overall well-being—without restriction, shame, or judgment. I believe food is medicine—but it should also taste great.

Your first session with Christine

In our first session, I’ll take time to get to know you—your health history, daily routines, and what you hope to achieve. This is your space to share your story, your experiences, and your goals. Together, we will begin creating a personalized plan that fits your life. That may include working through challenging habits or finding new ways food can promote improved energy, health, and overall well-being. Leave with a few practical, manageable steps to start building sustainable change until our next visit. My goal is for you to feel supported, encouraged, and confident as you move forward in your health journey.
