About Christine
Hello! Christine is a passionate registered dietitian with over 17 years of experience working in outpatient nutrition. She gained a wide variety of experience working for the University of California San Diego, Student Health Services, where she treated various conditions such as auto-immune (Hashimoto's thyroiditis, Anemia), metabolic (Obesity, Type II Diabetes, Thyroid concerns), endocrine disorders (PCOS), cardiovascular and gastrointestinal diseases (Gut Health), and weight loss for diverse populations. Christine strongly believes in the power that balanced nutrition can have to transform oneβs overall health and well-being.
Approach to care
Christine uses a personalized approach to help you develop healthy lifestyle habits specific to your tastes and needs. She believes all foods fit and uses curiosity not judgment to help you achieve your health and wellness goals. She provides consistent support and guidance as she supports you on your wellness journey. She will listen to you and understands that life happens, and your nutrition plan needs to be adaptable. With years of experience, she will help you see that being healthy and eating foods that you enjoy, is definitely possible! Low energy, poor digestion, skin conditions, and mental health, are some areas that can be improved with balanced nutrition and lifestyle habits.
Your first session with Christine
In your first session, you can expect a warm and non-judgmental approach focused on understanding your individual nutritional needs and health-related goals. Christine will be inquisitive, making sure she gets to know you, and ask open-ended questions to understand your goals, lifestyle, likes/dislikes as well as any food intolerances/allergies. She will assess your readiness for change and together weβll outline the next steps, with realistic goals/recommendations, and our next meeting time. She wants you to leave your first session feeling hopeful and empowered to continue developing healthy lifestyle habits.
