About Ciara

I'm a Registered Dietitian with clinical experience across inpatient and outpatient settings, specializing in chronic disease management, cardiac health, diabetes, general healthy eating, and more complex medical conditions including Cystic Fibrosis. I strive to provide personalized nutrition care to diverse patient populations. My background ranges from nutrition education and counseling, to working in the medical ICUs. I'm passionate about nutrition education and making healthy eating approachable. I've taught cooking classes and nutrition workshops to groups of 30+ students, led summer cooking camps for kids, and created engaging educational programs focused on kitchen skills, food safety, and practical cooking techniques. My goal is to help you build lasting, realistic habits that support your health without sacrificing the foods you love.

I work with clients who want to improve their nutrition without the all-or-nothing mentality. Yes, you can still have pizza on Fridays or your morning pastry. We'll just balance it with choices that support your goals throughout the week. Through our virtual sessions, we'll focus on gradual, realistic changes that stick. Think adding more vegetables you actually like, finding convenient healthy options, and developing a healthier relationship with food. Slow and steady wins the race, and I'm here to guide you every step of the way.

Your first session with Ciara

Our first session is all about getting to know you. We'll spend time discussing your current eating habits, lifestyle, health goals, and any challenges you're facing. No judgment just honest conversation about where you are and where you'd like to be. I'll ask about your daily routine, food preferences (including those guilty pleasures!), cooking habits, and what's worked or hasn't worked for you in the past. We'll also talk about any health concerns or dietary restrictions. By the end of our session, you'll leave with 1-2 small, actionable changes to start implementing right away, nothing overwhelming, just simple steps that fit into your life. This is the beginning of building momentum toward your goals, one realistic change at a time. Come ready to chat, and feel free to bring questions!
