About Cindy
Hi! My name is Cindy Sanchez, and I am a Registered Dietitian with extensive experience in the clinical inpatient setting. Throughout my career, I have worked with adults ranging in age from 18 to 90 years old, helping patient manage a wide variety of acute and chronic health conditions through individualized, evidence-based nutrition care. My passion for nutrition education began early in my life after seeing the debilitating impact of digestive issues in my family as well as myself. I became deeply interested in how nutrition can support gut health and overall well-being. I believe nutrition is highly individualized and isn't a one-size-fits-all idea. My areas of focus include improving gut health, supporting weight-related goals and optimizing chronic disease management.
Approach to care
I help clients set realistic goals, create sustainable habits, and make informed nutrition choices through supportive, evidence-based care. I enjoy working with individuals who are motivated, open-minded, and ready to explore different approaches to reach their goals. As we move into 2026, I would love the opportunity to support you in building sustainable habits and achieving your nutrition goals with confidence.
Your first session with Cindy
In your first session, we will focus on building rapport and discussing your personal goals. I will gather information about your usual eating patterns, including meals, snacks, beverages, and meal frequency. We will review some foundational nutrition concepts such as the food groups, macronutrients, micronutrients, supplements, and what a balanced meal can look like for you. I will also collect height and weight data to estimate your calorie and protein requirements as well as address any nutrition-related questions you may have. This session will help set the foundation for creating realistic, short term goals to support your nutrition journey!
