About Clarissa
Greetings, I'm Clarissa. I first developed a passion for food while employed in the restaurant industry. From tofu and broccoli to cheeseburgers and fries, I love eating! I've been a Registered Dietitian for almost 20 years working with chronic disease in both inpatient and outpatient healthcare. I hold a Certificate of Training in Obesity Interventions and enjoy working with bariatric patients throughout their weight loss journey.
Approach to care
I provide a safe space where you feel comfortable talking about your struggles and relationship with food. I understand that we are all different and take into consideration your unique personal circumstances. I believe in using evidence based solutions combined with small gradual changes to help you reach your goals. Judgement free, LGBTQIA+ friendly!
Your first session with Clarissa
First and foremost, I want to establish what you want to get out of this. This is about you. We'll discuss your health history and nutrition status and I'll take the time to get to know you. We'll establish some attainable, sustainable goals together. I'll be your biggest cheerleader!
