About Cole
Food and movement have always felt connected to me. I earned an MS in Nutrition from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and spent my first year as an RDN working in sports nutrition, translating science into practical routines for active people. Based in Amherst, Massachusetts, I bring a direct, educational style while staying warm and approachable. I climb rocks to clear my head, read to keep learning, and play chess for the problem solving. As an LDN I enjoy partnering with patients to create sustainable, realistic change.
Approach to care
Evidence guides what I recommend, and education is how I help you use it. I combine a weight-neutral, behavior-focused perspective with clear, actionable steps so we can measure progress without getting hung up on numbers. I want us to be pragmatic and honest, while also staying compassionate and nonjudgmental. Together we'll look at the whole person, including mental and emotional factors, and I'll teach you tools you can keep using long after our sessions end.
Your first session with Cole
During the first visit we'll take time to review your medical history and do a deep dive into your relationship with food, all in a low-pressure, judgment-free setting. I will help you clarify short-term goals that feel achievable and relevant, and we'll prioritize the smallest steps that create momentum. You don't need to have it all figured out, just bring what you know and what frustrates you. We'll leave with one or two concrete actions and a plan for how we'll build from there together.
