About Collette

I am both a Certified Exercise Physiologist and a Registered Dietitian with over 15 years of experience in counseling and motivational interviewing techniques. A majority of my career has specifically focused on working with individuals with are managing multiple chronic conditions, especially those with chronic kidney disease and liver diseases. I have worked with all walks of life from all different backgrounds and thrive on helping individuals meet their goals in a realistic way.

Approach to care

In my experience in healthcare settings, it often can feel like we are being told what to do or "talked to". This type of approach does not seek understanding or collaboration. It often turns into what the medical professional thinks is you should do vs what YOU want to focus on. With my approach, I like the "you talk, I listen" method. The sessions will be based on what you want to work on with me serving as a tool guide to support you in your journey. I strive on working with clients on realistic approaches that are sustainable and helping putting back together the puzzle pieces in what can sometimes feel like a broken healthcare journey.

Your first session with Collette

We will use time during the first session for me to gain more information about you, discuss further about what brought you to wanting to work with a dietitian. We will then work together to develop a plan for moving forward to help you reach your health goals.
