About Corinne
My name is Corinne and I've been a Registered Dietitian with more than 20 years of experience providing nutrition care across a variety of health care settings. I have a strong background in disease management with nutrition counseling and education through individualized, evidenced based interventions. I have worked with patients on a 1:1 outpatient counseling setting along with group weight loss and diabetes classes which I really enjoyed helping many people. For the past 13 years, I have specialized in renal nutrition, working closely with patients and care teams to manage chronic kidney disease and improve quality of life. As a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist, I also provide individual guidance to help patients successfully navigate the challenges of diabetes management with a strong commitment to patient education and collaborative care. I empower individuals to make mindful choices that support their health and well-being.
Approach to care
I take an individualized, compassionate approach to nutrition counseling, meeting each patient where they are in their health journey. I am very passionate about helping people gain control of their health and wellness. I combine evidenced-based guidance with motivational interviewing to help set realistic goals and promote lasting behavior changes to improve health outcomes and overall quality of life.
Your first session with Corinne
Our first session is an opportunity to get to know you, your health history, current nutrition habits and personal goals. I'll take time to review your medical background, lab results if available, and any specific nutrition concerns such as diabetes management, weight management, kidney health, GI issues or other conditions. Together we will discuss your typical eating patterns, lifestyle and any challenges that you may have around food or health. My goal is to understand your specific needs and priorities so we can create together a practical and realistic plan that fits your life. I believe that making small, consistent steps will lead to long-term success. I want to make your experience comfortable, supportive and focused entirely on helping you take the next steps toward better health.
