About Corrie

I’m a registered dietitian nutritionist with 18 years of experience, including 13 years specializing in dialysis care. I’ve seen firsthand how nutrition can slow the progression of chronic kidney disease and improve quality of life. My goal is to help you make sustainable changes that support your health—whether you're managing kidney disease, heart disease, diabetes, or just want to feel better in your body. As someone raising a family, I know how overwhelming it can be to make sure everyone eats well. That’s why I focus on balance and moderation, not perfection. I’ll help you tackle the day-to-day with practical, judgment-free guidance that fits your real life. Let’s turn nutrition into something that excites and inspires you—because the decisions we make today can shape our health for years to come.

Approach to care

I believe nutrition should be simple, flexible, and personalized. My approach focuses on understanding your unique lifestyle, preferences, and challenges so we can create a plan you feel confident following. I combine evidence-based recommendations with realistic strategies that fit into your daily life, helping you build habits that support your health long-term—without rigid rules or extremes.

Your first session with Corrie

In our first session, we’ll start by talking through your health history, daily habits, and goals so I can get a clear picture of your needs. I’ll ask questions about your nutrition, lifestyle, and any challenges you’ve been facing. Together, we’ll identify your priorities, set realistic next steps, and outline a personalized plan you can begin right away. You’ll leave with practical strategies you can start implementing immediately, plus a clear idea of what we’ll work on in future sessions.

Education

BS in Food Science, Human Nutrition from Clemson University

Hobbies

When I’m not working, you’ll find me reading, cooking, walking for exercise, gardening, or spending time with my husband and kids. I also love catching up with friends and cheering at my kids’ sporting events. These everyday joys keep me grounded and remind me that wellness is about balance in all parts of life.
