About Cortney
Hello everyone! My name is Cortney and I have 4 years of clinical nutrition experience. As well as experience working with supplements, meal plans, and exercise goals! I am passionate about empowering people to make great food choices and creating lifestyle changes. I believe that everyone is different and has their own individual needs- I am here to help you discover and find those needs! Together, we will implement and create changes to help your health be the best it can be!
Approach to care
I believe in a functional approach to medicine. We can work together to review your labs, goals, or lifestyle to make sure that your diet fits your needs. Likewise, your relationship with food will be a main focus. We will talk through your previous experiences with diets, motivations, etc., to ensure that we can overcome any obstacle. I will be someone who will keep you accountable. We will work together to keep track of your goals and I will encourage you along the way. Outside of nutrition, I will also focus on your exercise and sleep habits! All of these things play a large role in your overall health. As needed- we can and will track labs to ensure that goals are being tracked and met.
Your first session with Cortney
Expect to have a great and open conversation about your goals and concerns! We will explore your current position and get a feel for what your goals are. We will lay everything out on the table for us to evaluate and start working towards a plan! We will also take some time to explore any labs, health conditions, and overall concerns that you may have. Nutrition is an individualized approach- I want to get to know you as a person as well! There are many different things that factor into our health and our ability to maintain health. We are more than just faces on a screen!
