About Courtney
As someone who has grown up in the digital age, I became very passionate about helping individuals navigate the confusing nutrition advice/recommendations available on the internet. Most of us have been victimized by diet culture and body shaming-I am certainly not an exception! This is what ultimately led me to the field of dietetics where I have been practicing as a registered dietitian for almost 2 years.
Approach to care
I aim to take away the guilt surrounding one's food choices by promoting strategies that will help build trust back within ourselves. I view diet as a holistic approach that involves "addition" to our meals rather than "restriction".
Your first session with Courtney
When meeting with me for the first time, you can expect plenty of questions to help me get to know YOU and what YOUR life looks like. Everyone's diet is going to look different because everyone has different needs. The goal by the end of the first session is to be able to iron out some realistic and specific goals that match your unique needs and lifestyle.
