About Courtney
Hi, I'm Courtney! As a pediatric registered dietitian and neurodivergent mom, I understand the daily realities of feeding a family when ADHD and autism are part of the picture. For the past decade, I've supported thousands of families, including five years at a major children's hospital working with critically ill children. My training in pediatric nutrition, feeding disorders, and ARFID, combined with my personal experience raising neurodivergent children, allows me to meet families exactly where they are. I'm passionate about helping families discover joy in food while creating sustainable approaches that work for your unique situation.
Approach to care
I believe lasting change happens through small, meaningful shifts rather than overwhelming overhauls. We'll focus on practical strategies that fit your real lifeālike simple systems to increase nourishment and satiety, plus mindset shifts that help you appreciate progress. My approach is designed for families with ADHD, autism, and other neurodivergent needs, recognizing that traditional advice often doesn't account for sensory preferences or executive function challenges. I see the whole family system and aim to reduce stress around food so your family can thrive through sustainable changes.
Your first session with Courtney
Your first 55-minute session starts with connection. I'll share my background and want to hear your family's story. We'll explore your situation through a "day in the life" conversation about meals, routines, and challengesāno rigid questionnaire, no judgment. Based on our discussion, I'll outline a personalized approach and explain the "why" behind recommendations. Together, we'll set 2-3 achievable goals for the week and schedule follow-up sessions. You'll leave with a summary, action items, and resources. Most families find success with regular sessions over several months.
