About Courtney

Hello, my name is Courtney and I'm a registered dietitian! As an eating disorder dietitian, I have experience providing care at residential programs and higher levels of care. There are so many outlets to get nutrition information it can get a little confusing what is helpful or hurtful. Food is not only a way to provide our bodies with energy, but food is cultural, social, relational, and has a direct impact on our health and wellbeing. It takes a lot of courage to be here and reach out for help and I am excited to be there as a support and equal partner on your journey to a healthier you.

Approach to care

I value providing evidence based education but also recognize the invaluable insight that only you can bring by sharing your personal experiences. As a eating disorder dietitian, I take a non-diet approach while increasing awareness around ways diet culture has influenced our life. I seek to empower clients to have a balanced and positive relationship with food, as it impacts so many areas of our lives. Sessions will cover practical ways to apply nutrition knowledge and skills in everyday life. I strive to create a judgement-free environment where you feel listened to, validated, challenged, and supported.

Your first session with Courtney

In our first session, we will discuss your journey with your relationship with food, challenges, concerns, and what pushed you to find a dietitian. As I am getting to know you, I will ask several questions in order to determine what style of support you need and how to make our time together as fruitful as possible. By the end of the session, we will establish realistic short and long term goals to work towards and a plan of action on how to begin taking steps towards your success.
