About Courtney

Hello there! My name is Courtney and I'm a Registered Dietitian with a Master's in Nutrition & Dietetics. I'd like to share with you an overview of my professional experience as well as some information about myself. I have worked in the field of nutrition for over 7 years doing client-facing care ranging from clinical to community work. I have 3 years of clinical experience and 4+ years experience in the community sector as a nutrition health educator and regional food bank manager at a local non-profit organization. Outside of work, I can be found hanging out with my two beautiful kitties, at the local rock climbing gym, getting involved in my community, and either listening to music, exploring new recipes to cook, or participating in creative expression through writing, dance, music, etc.

Approach to care

My care philosophy focuses on holistic approaches including Health At Every Size (HAES), mindful and intuitive eating practices, and our relationship to food as it connects to healing our mind, body, and soul. One of my goals as a dietitian is to foster an established and trusted provider-patient relationship to work towards creating an individualized care plan and develop successful goals. My approach to care is centered on evidence-based practices and collaborating with each client to implement sustainable, long-term behavior change.

Your first session with Courtney

During our first session, we will start off with introductions and an overview of the basics -- I invite you to bring up any areas of potential discomfort or apprehensions upon beginning your journey so we can work together to develop a care plan that will best fit your individual needs. I am committed to meeting each client where they are and working alongside them each and every step of the way!
