About Courtney

Courtney has experience as a clinical dietitian working with clients with heart disease and diabetes as well as working in leadership and alongside clients going through eating disorder treatment in the residential and outpatient levels of care.

Approach to care

Courtney practices a weight-inclusive, non-diet approach while striving to create individualized, compassionate care for her clients. Courtney is passionate about finding a balance of nourishment and pleasure from all foods to experience enjoyment while discussing how food functions as fuel to your body and mind. Courtney recognizes that every person has a unique story and experience with food and their body and carries hope to restore relationships to both with client-driven goals at the forefront of sessions. Courtney hopes to cultivate a welcoming space for clients to hold curiosity and build confidence within themselves to create lasting and impactful change.

Your first session with Courtney

In the initial session, Courtney will start by asking what your goals are for sessions to ensure the approach is tailored to your needs. From there, Courtney will go through a nutrition questionnaire with a variety of questions ranging from medical history to sleep hygiene to your relationship with food and more in-between. The purpose of this is to get a full understanding and to develop a plan tailored to you. Once the assessment is complete, she will provide you with a few actionable goals to get started on the journey to behavior change.
