About Courtney

My name is Courtney. I studied Dietetics at Louisiana State University and, after graduation, completed my internship at the University of Houston. I worked as a dietitian for 9 years before my husband and I started our family, and then I paused my career to raise my 3 boys. While my primary experience is in both bariatrics and renal (dialysis), I have a passion for integrative and functional medicine - something I have been studying for the last several years, and am currently working towards completing my certification in IFMNT (Integrative and Functional Medical Nutrition Therapy).

I utilize an integrative and functional approach to care and provide personalized recommendations to help you achieve optimal health. This is a root cause approach, looking beyond your symptoms to determine the underlying imbalances causing those symptoms. Whether you currently have a medical condition, or are simply seeking to put yourself in the best place of prevention, I look forward to partnering with you to achieve your health goals.

Your first session with Courtney

Our first appointment will be about getting to know you, your health goals and challenges and how I can best serve you. We will complete a comprehensive nutrition assessment, taking a deep dive into your medical history, diet and lifestyle and work together to create a personalized plan that is tailored to your individual needs, preferences and goals.
