About Dagmara

Hi, I'm Dagmara. I'm a Registered Dietitian with 13 years of experience, based in Washington, Illinois. I earned my BS in Nutrition Science from Bradley University and have spent most of my career in clinical and hospital settings, helping people translate science into practical plans. I'm an RD and LDN, and I bring a direct, educational approach to nutrition. When I'm not working, you might find me hiking, cooking, or crocheting, which keeps me grounded and curious about how nourishment fits into everyday life. I value listening and meeting you where you are, because real change comes from understanding your life, not from a one-size-fits-all program. I look forward to getting to know you and your goals.

Approach to care

My care philosophy blends evidence-based science with compassionate collaboration. I believe nutrition advice should be grounded in current research yet tailored to your life, preferences, and values. We'll work together to translate science into practical steps, focusing on sustainable habits rather than quick fixes. I practice with a weight-inclusive, HAES-inspired lens and emphasize the whole person, including sleep, stress, mood, and relationships, because nutrition does not exist in isolation. You can expect clear, actionable guidance, patient listening, and education that empowers you to make informed choices long after our sessions end.

Your first session with Dagmara

Our first appointment is a warm, no-pressure conversation about you. We'll start by reviewing your medical history and current routines, and I will listen closely to your relationship with food. We'll set short-term goals that feel doable and meaningful, anchored in your life. You don't need to have a perfect plan or all answers yet; together we'll identify what matters most and outline one or two initial steps to get you moving in the right direction. I want you to feel seen, supported, and confident about the path ahead.
