About Dana
Hi there! Iām a registered dietitian with almost 20 years of experience and a graduate of Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, where I earned my degree in Applied Nutrition. I completed my dietetic internship at San Francisco State University and have spent much of my career in school nutrition, helping communities build healthier relationships with food. What I love most, though, is working one-on-one with peopleāhelping them understand how food truly works and how it fuels both the body and mind. I believe that what we eat is deeply connected to every part of our well-being, from our energy and mood to how we show up in daily life.
Approach to care
My approach is compassionate, personal, and realistic. I meet clients where they are, offering guidance without judgment and support that fits their unique journey. Iām here to help you learn, feel confident about your choices, and create an action plan that fits your lifeānot someone elseās. My goal is to provide the tools, understanding, and encouragement you need to thrive and feel your best.
Your first session with Dana
I'm really excited to get to know you! In our first session, we'll chat about your goals, your daily routines and what you're hoping to improve. I'll also walk you through some simple nutrition basics so you can leave with tips you can use right away and start feeling a difference. Together, we'll pick a few small, realistic goals for the week. As time goes on, we'll check in, celebrate your wins, and adjust things as needed. My goal is for you to leave our first session feeling encouraged, supported, and ready to take the next step!
