About Dana
Hi - I'm Dana, and I'm passionate about helping women, children and families reach their nutrition and wellness goals. As a dietitian and mom, I combine professional expertise with personal experience to deliver customized care that works within your lifestyle. I use a science-based, food-first approach to address a wide-variety of needs including general health, family mealtime dynamics, picky eating, food allergies, growth management (pediatrics), longevity, diabetes, heart health, high cholesterol and high blood pressure. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, reading, doing yoga, spending time outdoors and hanging out with my family.
Approach to care
I provide care using a weight-neutral approach and believe food should be fun, not restrictive or stressful. Together, we will build a positive relationship with food as well as use sustainable behavior change to work toward your goals. You will drive the work we do together, but I will be there every step of the way as a motivator, cheerleader and educator. Additionally, I believe the food you eat should fit into your unique lifestyle as well as reflect your cultural values.
Your first session with Dana
During your first session, we will discuss your nutrition and health goals as well as talk about your current lifestyle overall. We will explore ways we can improve your current habits and start to develop a plan to help you achieve your goals. You will also have an opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
